A brief CPD Workshop

Date and Time: New Date: Sunday 24th September 2023

Delivered by: Jo Bailey

Fees: £40 (SPTI Members) £45 (Non-Members)

Venue: Nottingham City.

About this workshop:

This brief workshop is designed to support participants in working with clients that change the therapeutic frame. This is particularly relevant to those considering or setting out into private practice where changes to the frame have significant meaning for the therapy work, as well as potentially impacting the therapist, for instance when fees have not been paid or the mode of delivery changes. This workshop is also relevant to all of us working with clients as changes of this kind are often very important in the work.

Reflection on specific case scenarios will be used to develop participants thinking about these changes – in brief, relationally and ethically.

Some examples of changes to the frame include:

  • DNAs and cancellations
  • Changing from telephone to face-to-face sessions or online working
  • Non-payment of fees and fee reductions
  • Unplanned breaks and endings in therapy

This workshop is for current student & graduates/therapeutic professionals.
