The SPTI LGBTQ+ and/or people of colour bursary
The SPTI LGBTQ+ and/or people of colour bursary has been created to encourage applications to study from marginalised groups who have been underrepresented in counselling and psychotherapy training. We are working towards reducing gaps in equality of opportunity caused by social, cultural or economic disadvantage. Bursaries worth £1,000 may be awarded across all our degree and masters programmes each year (in the form of reduced training fees). To be considered for the bursary, applicants must be first year degree or masters students who are self-funding and who identify as LGBTQ+ and/or are a person of colour.
