SPTI Diploma: An Integrative Approach to Couples Therapy

The SPTI Diploma is an in depth CPD training over 8 weekend workshops running from March to November 2024 that explores working therapeutically with couples incorporating a variety of different therapeutic approaches within the couples framework.
SPTI Diploma: Clinical Supervision

The supervision course is designed to build on skills and experience already developed by students prior to attending this training. It emphasises the ability to hold an overview of processes and people such that they can be helped to fulfil their role more effectively. The course is taught using both didactic and experiential methods and emphasises the shared knowledge and experience of all participants.
(CYP) Counselling Young People: A Humanistic and Integrative Approach to Working with Young People (11-18)
Delivered by Tim Woodhouse
A five day workshop programme that runs twice per year in the Spring and Autumn. This highly interactive and experiential workshop focuses primarily on the differences between working with adults and working with young people, helping you make the necessary cognitive and emotional adjustments between working with these two very different client groups. It is constructed on the very clear evidence-based competences that the BACP have identified and is designed to complement and extend the training offered in courses aimed at working with adults.
Open Seminar Series

Our Seminars are open to those interested in the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute and its activities, which includes trainees across all courses, graduates, and allied professionals.
In each seminar the presenter will share their thinking about a psychotherapy topic and there will be time for discussion, questions, and the sharing of ideas.

Professional Certificate and Diploma in Pastoral Supervision
