Directions

The Sherwood Institute is well served by the M1 and is just a few miles from junctions 24, 25 and 26.

By Tram:	Fourteen minute walk from Old Market Square tram stop or a fourteen minute walk from the railway station tram stop.
From the South, by road:	Leave the M1 at junction 24 and follow the A453 into the city centre.
From the North, by road:	Leave the M1 at junction 26 and follow the A610 into the city centre.
From the West, by road:	Follow the A52 into Nottingham. Parking information from Nottingham City Council.
By Rail:	Fourteen minute walk from Nottingham main line station.
By Air:	From Nottingham East Midlands Airport, follow the A453 out of the airport, across the M1 motorway at junction 24 and continue your journey into the city centre.

From time to time, SPTI may introduce additional teaching venues or training facilities to support course delivery. This may include using new buildings or locations within the Nottingham area.

Where this happens, we will ensure that:

• any locations used are appropriate to the course and facilities required, and
• students and applicants are informed in advance of enrolment where the location of study differs from that originally advertised.

Full details of your training location will be confirmed before you enrol.

Updated Summer 2026: SPTI has been exploring additional teaching venues within the Nottingham City area. Pending final site approval, the new location is expected to be at a site on Carlton Road, Nottingham NG3 2NR. Some teaching activities and workshops may take place at this location once formally confirmed.

Any confirmed changes will be communicated to applicants and students promptly, and before enrolment wherever possible.
