We are seeking a Skills Facilitator to join our experienced teaching team in the delivery of our successful MSc Person-Centred & Experiential Psychotherapy programme.
You will be supporting trainees from novice (preparing for placement) through to qualified and registered practitioner level. In liaison with the teaching team, you will provide effective supervision of students’ clinical skills work to develop trainee therapists’ skills. The role includes the delivery of scheduled skills training, completing assessment of student progress, presentations, and practice related elements in compliance with the relevant standards and obligations of SPTI and its validating partners. Attending both MSc team and year meetings and SPTI full staff meetings as agreed with the Programme Leader and Director of Training.
Feedback and pastoral support and an appreciation and ability to respond to different learning styles is essential.
Candidates must be professionally accredited psychotherapists and/or counsellors, a graduate within a Person-Centred and Experiential framework and have a qualification in clinical supervision. The post is offered on a self-employed basis.
